BS. (PH) Bachelor of Public Health

Our view of public health is diverse and inclusive in disciplines, people and perspectives. Our major focus is to bridge the gap between academic research and practical public health solutions thus making a difference by implementing evidence-based programs and policies. Objectives

• To educate students in public health competencies with an accredited curriculum.
• To provide students with community-oriented education and practice opportunities.
• To generate public health knowledge emphasizing community-engaged and translational research.
• To participate in public health advocacy, policy, and practice at a local, national and global level.

Eligibility Criteria

• 50% of marks in Pre-Medical/Medical Technology are required for admission.

Duration

It is a four-years duration program spread over 8 semesters.

Study Scheme

Assessment

The students’ study progress evaluation mechanism is based on continuous assessment throughout the semester by giving assignments, quizzes, mid-term, and final term examinations.

Project/Thesis

Students are required to complete a Project / Thesis in the last Semester.

Award Of Degree

To become eligible for the award of degree, the student is required to obtain a minimum CGPA  of 2.0 out of 4.
